Right to Water and Access to Water Resources in the European Development Policy

This chapter deals with the attention given by the EU development policy on the right to and access to water. First, the analysis focus on the nature of this right, as recognized firstly by the international legal order and secondly by the EU legal order. The analysis then move onto the guarantee of its effectiveness and finally, the new perspectives in the context of the EU action n the field of cooperation and development
