The purpose of the research is testing a multidimensional model for network analysis that seems being more adequate than Social Network Analysis (SNA), in the study of networks from an organizational point of view. On this purpose, after examining the potentialities and limits of SNA and the theoretical background, the model has been applied to the analysis of three project networks comparing the results to those obtained in some basic typologies of network.
