Abstract

The present volume originates from recent research challenges on the dynamics of interconnected networks. It seeks to provide new pathways and to open up new horizons for scientific concepts, theories and models which map out spatial dynamics and network forms and structures. The contributions have been organized in five main sections: I) ANALYTICAL ADVANCES IN MODELLING THE SPACE-ECONOMY II) MODELLING TRANSPORT NETWORKS III) SPATIAL AND INDUSTRIAL DYNAMICS IV) DYNAMICS IN REGIONAL SYSTEMS V) DYNAMICS IN URBAN TRANSPORT SYSTEMS
