LHCb is a particle physics detector which collects data at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). LHCb is designed to perform precise measurement of the Standard Model in the sector of flavor physics, measuring the parameters of CP violation in the decays of b- and c-hadrons, heavy particles containing beauty and charm quarks.
