The interaction between philosophy and the study of culture can assume many different forms, producing diverse concrete expressions, nearly always involving anthropology in one of its lines of development. Specific attention is directed here to the revival of the “philosophy of culture” as a discipline, the return to anthropology through a number of great thinkers, and the new disciplinary hybrids and their current prospects.

Abstract
The interaction between philosophy and the study of culture can assume many different forms, producing diverse concrete expressions, nearly always involving anthropology in one of its lines of development. Specific attention is directed here to the revival of the “philosophy of culture” as a discipline, the return to anthropology through a number of great thinkers, and the new disciplinary hybrids and their current prospects.File in questo prodotto:
