In recent years, Korean civil society organizations have become highly committed to a wide range of social issues, including consumer protection, women's issue, human rights, anti-corruption. These organizations, therefore, have increasingly played the role of policy entrepreneurs, to propose and assist in the formation and implementation of policies, and to form organizations dedicated to the protection of public interests by monitoring government and business activities. The entrepreneurial function of the Korean civil society is the central issue in this article.
