The book aims at providing students of Functional Grammar with exercises designed to help them apply the principles and techniques of this analytical model. The exericses, with keys, have been grouped into two levels: elementary and intermediate. Some of the exercises are organized by topic areas, while others cover a range of topics. The book begins with a series of discrete items, mainly multiple choice, testing the more basic notions of Functional Grammar, gradually building up to more delicate aspects of the model and the appraisal systems. Many exercises are also based on authentic texts.

Abstract
The book aims at providing students of Functional Grammar with exercises designed to help them apply the principles and techniques of this analytical model. The exericses, with keys, have been grouped into two levels: elementary and intermediate. Some of the exercises are organized by topic areas, while others cover a range of topics. The book begins with a series of discrete items, mainly multiple choice, testing the more basic notions of Functional Grammar, gradually building up to more delicate aspects of the model and the appraisal systems. Many exercises are also based on authentic texts.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
