Italian and Dutch compounds are analyzed from a typological point of view. The main discovery is that in these two languages compounds containing a verb are in complete complementary distribution (i.e. every construction present in Duct is not preent in Italian and viceversa). In Italian compounds V is always used with argumental function. In Dutch, on the contrary, it can be used in attributive position.

Abstract
Italian and Dutch compounds are analyzed from a typological point of view. The main discovery is that in these two languages compounds containing a verb are in complete complementary distribution (i.e. every construction present in Duct is not preent in Italian and viceversa). In Italian compounds V is always used with argumental function. In Dutch, on the contrary, it can be used in attributive position.File in questo prodotto:
