The dynorphin family is composed of multiple peptides. They are distributed in the central nervous system and peripheral tissues. Dynorphins dusply several biological functions, including the regulation of pain transmission, feeding, pituitary hormone release, and they may affect the myocardial function. Incred dynorphin levels are increased in heart ischemia and may tilt the balance towards neurotoxic dynorphin derivatives tha may contribute to tissue damage.

Abstract
The dynorphin family is composed of multiple peptides. They are distributed in the central nervous system and peripheral tissues. Dynorphins dusply several biological functions, including the regulation of pain transmission, feeding, pituitary hormone release, and they may affect the myocardial function. Incred dynorphin levels are increased in heart ischemia and may tilt the balance towards neurotoxic dynorphin derivatives tha may contribute to tissue damage.File in questo prodotto:
