Both geometric and nonsmooth analytic methods and techniques have played fundamental roles in mathematic control theory over the past 30 years. They also remain topics of considerable current research, and are continuing to find ever-broadening applications as well as unifying theoretical developments. This conference will celebrate two seminal researchers that have spearheaded these advancements, Henry Hermes and R.T. Rockafellar. The conference includes talks by over thirty leading experts in mathematical control theory, and a session of communications by young faculty and Post-Doctoral researchers. Topics include optimal control theory, dynamic programming, stabilization, nonsmooth analysis, impulsive systems. The conference provides an excellent opportunity for young researchers and graduate students interested in these research areas of control theory to meet and interact with the established control community. Broad dissemination of the conference papers will be achieved through the publication of conference proceedings.

Abstract
Broad dissemination of the conference papers will be achieved through the publication of conference proceedings.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
