Reflecting on concepts such as space and power and topography, the essay discusses some positions on Humanities and Literature in the current international theoretical landscape showing how a critical rearm is on-going, in particular considering a radical revisione on post-modern paradigms and a possibile return of ideology. This new framework induces to rethink political issues (such as colonial and post-colonial theories) at the light of a new global and engaged theory producing new perspectives in the critical theory.
