The design, the first implementation steps and the expected developments of the European Project LEPLA (Socrates-Minerva 99843-CP-!-2002) are described and discussed. The main objective of this EU funded project is to develop an internationally available, innovative learning environment based on ICT, multimedia educational material and handheld technology, extending physics laboratory activities to open and distant learning. In addition, LEPLA creates a Forum and a trans-national cooperation network to promote experience exchange in experimental physics teaching and educational usage of information technology. B. Zoltowski is the project co-ordinator and B. Pecori is the reference person for UniBo. Other European countries involved are Sweden, Ireland and United Kingdom. The project has been selected by UniBo to be included in the review of e-learning projects at the web site: http://www.elearning.unibo.it/

Abstract
The project has been selected by UniBo to be included in the review of e-learning projects at the web site: http://www.elearning.unibo.it/I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
