Abstract
For this purpose, a series of interventions were devised and partially realized in various periods, by different public commissions within the Eco-museum project of the Valle del Chiese, as an access point to the Trentino region. Eco-museums were initially conceived to uphold the remaining traces of a rural society at a time when urbanization and newly adopted technological endeavours and the consequent social changes represented the real risk of completely wiping out an ages-old cultural heritage. In the contemporary dimension of the ‘extending city’, these initiatives are to represent the occasion to construct and give form to the recognizable ambits of the territory in which citizens can see their shared values and traditions effectively represented.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
