Atti del VI incontro nazionale sui fitoplasmi e le malattie da fitoplasmi

Following the traditional meetings started in Udine almost twenty years ago the phytoplasmology group is organizing, from 17 to 19 of June 2013, at Bologna University the "VI Italian Meeting on Phytoplasmas and Phytoplasma Diseases" in order to update the scientific community and the stakeholders on the different aspect of phytoplasma and phytoplasma associated diseases. The introduction will be related to the recently published axenic cultivation of phytoplasmas that could open new research avenues leading to eventually increase the knowledge in this relevant plant pathology field. The different aspects of the phytoplasma research such as new diseases and quarantine diseases, transmission and insect vectors, phytoplasma-host interactions, epidemiology, control and diagnostic are covered by 36 communications. The three days meeting will end with a round table about “Phytoplasma and environment: diffusion, diagnostic and innovative management systems”.
