The Associate Project on the EU’s performance in the World Bank has started to fill the gap that exists in the literature on the EU’s role at the World Bank, by exploring the Union’s external action in the phases of decision-making and implementation. It has substantially increased the available knowledge on some crucial dimensions of the EU external performance in development, deepening the existing knowledge in a policy area of ‘dense’ external intervention of the Union. Based on the findings from the performance analysis, the Project has offered a preliminary assessment of the variability in the EU's external performance at the World Bank and in development policies that are carried out with the participation of Bank’s agencies . Finally, it has provided policy inputs to improve the performance of the EU at the World Bank, with specific policy advice at the different levels of assessed effectiveness (internal, external, contributed).

Abstract
Finally, it has provided policy inputs to improve the performance of the EU at the World Bank, with specific policy advice at the different levels of assessed effectiveness (internal, external, contributed).I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
