The paper studies and publishes first time the Hebrew text of a funenary pillar kept today in the Abbey of Maguzzano, near Desenzano del Garda, where it was trasported in the past from the Jew cemetery in Verona. The text of the epitaph is a poem in rhyme and rhythm and its author inspired himself to the poem of the Italian poet of 16th-17th century Samuel Archivolti. Unfortunately a lacuna in the marble make us impossible to read the date which is probably from the 17th century.
