This televisual processing of the funeral of the Nassiriya victims is functional to Italian politics, but it also belongs to a media logic that is today very generally extended . In particular, we can observe the passionate appeal, which pervades all television genres like news, drama, talk-show, documentary and so on, in the name of a macro-genre called "Reality TV".
