Asia Pacific Centre for Environmental Accountability Journal

The Asia Pacific Centre for Environmental Accountability (APCEA) was established in 1996 to promote research into environmental accountability, broadly defined to include environmental, social and economic aspects of corporate activity. APCEAs aims are set out in its Charter. Professor Roger Burritt acts as the International Coordinator of APCEA. APCEA operates as a network of independent branches. Branches are located in a number of countries including: Argentina, Australia, China, Japan, South Korea, and New Zealand. Between 1996 and 2012 APCEA published the Journal of the Asia Pacific Centre for Environmental Accountability* each quarter with the financial support of CPA Australia. An archive of past issues of the APCEA Journal is available on the APCEA Journal page. *The APCEA journal specifically targeted early career researchers in the broad area of sustainability accounting and reporting. The final edition of the Journal of the Asia Pacific Centre for Environmental Accountability was published in December 2012.
