Dalla presentazione della collana: " .... its aim is that of publishing studies covering different fields of knowledge and comparing them. The "Studies and Encounters among disciplines" appearing in the series' title would actually anticipate the realisation of an effective dialogue between different disciplines which may not only contribute to bearing changes and new stimuli to scientific research, but also innovations in the means of transmitting and receiving knowledge itself. The scientific committee is mainly composed by both nationally and internationally renowned scholars in the fields of literature, history of ideas, cultural studies, anthropology, history of science and of medicine who consider this "space" as a place in which not only scholars may publish their research, but where also young post graduate and PhD students may publish their first works."
