During this experimental run we were able to record nitrogen valence-to-core X-ray Emission Spectra from three sets of dilute nitride samples (pristine end hydrogenated). This demostrates the feasibility of XES experiments for dilutions of the order of 1 %. The spectra indicate significant changes in the valence band DOS induced by hydrogenation, but, interestingly, no change in the position of the valence band maximum.
