An itegrated approach for the structural analysis and evaluation of preservation interventions of an historic railway arch bridge is presented. The integrated approach is based on the combined use of full-scale testing and numerical simulations: a numerical model of the bridge is set up and calibrated on experimental tests. Using the numerical model is then possible to evaluate the structural effects of a possible strengthening intervention.

Abstract
An itegrated approach for the structural analysis and evaluation of preservation interventions of an historic railway arch bridge is presented. The integrated approach is based on the combined use of full-scale testing and numerical simulations: a numerical model of the bridge is set up and calibrated on experimental tests. Using the numerical model is then possible to evaluate the structural effects of a possible strengthening intervention.File in questo prodotto:
