The book is presenting papers from the meeting held in Cesenatico the 22nd of May 2010 at the Ichtyopathology and Hygiene of Fish Products Degree of the Veterinary School of Bologna University, in the framework of activities of the Research Group on Large Pelagic Vertebrates. The idea was to catch some of the main ecological factors that drive the evolutionary choice of some marine mega-vertebrates. In particular food webs and migrations were analyzed in different marine animal models.
