The aim of the present work was to evaluate the effect of the microwave-assisted post-treatment on the catalytic activity and stability of Ni- and Rh/Ni-catalysts in the CPO of methane. The catalytic performances obtained on the microwave-synthesized catalysts were then compared with those of traditional catalyst under similar reaction conditions. The catalytic tests were carried out at two different temperatures and contact times, also modifying the dilution of the fed gas mixture order to better highlight the differences between the catalysts. The characterization of the precursors and the calcined materials show differences in the crystallinity of the phases obtained and reducibility of the active species that affect their catalytic performances.

Abstract
The aim of the present work was to evaluate the effect of the microwave-assisted post-treatment on the catalytic activity and stability of Ni- and Rh/Ni-catalysts in the CPO of methane. The catalytic performances obtained on the microwave-synthesized catalysts were then compared with those of traditional catalyst under similar reaction conditions. The catalytic tests were carried out at two different temperatures and contact times, also modifying the dilution of the fed gas mixture order to better highlight the differences between the catalysts. The characterization of the precursors and the calcined materials show differences in the crystallinity of the phases obtained and reducibility of the active species that affect their catalytic performances.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
