The current phase of deep energetic overhaul of buildings, suggests the possibility to direct the transformations’ assumptions of the built heritage into operations for the renewal of existing assets, aiming at finding new technicalconstructive and figurative quality for the building envelope. The redevelopment is, in fact, the biggest challenge, yet a huge potential in terms of energy consumption reduction and represent a possible contribution to the beginning of the transition processes of the contexts toward the implementation of new energy communities.
