The field of nuclear medicine has evolved rapidly in recent years, and one very important aspect of this progress has been the introduction of hybrid imaging systems. PET-CT has already gauned wudespread acceptance in many clinical settings, especially within incology, and now SPECT-CT promises to emulate its success. Useful applications of this new approach have been identified not only in oncology but also andocrinology, cardiology, internal medicine and other specialities. This atlas, which includes hundreds of high-quality images, is a user-frinendly guide to the optimal use and interpretation of SPECT-CT. The full range of potential SPCET-CT applications in clinical routine is considered and assesed by acknowledged experts. The book is designed to serve a reference text for both nuclear physicians and radiologists; it will also provide fundamental support for radiographers, technologists, and nuclear medicine and radiology residents. Following the editors' other atlases on PET-CT and non-FDG PET-CT, the "Atlas of SPECT-CT" completes a triology offering up-to-date information and guidance on the full spectrum of hybrid imaging.

Abstract
Following the editors' other atlases on PET-CT and non-FDG PET-CT, the "Atlas of SPECT-CT" completes a triology offering up-to-date information and guidance on the full spectrum of hybrid imaging.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
