Italian legal elites are a case f exceptional resistance raised by the classic pattern of legal elites, which have neither lost all their traditional power not withdrawn from politics to confine themselves to professional practice alone. This resistence has nevertheless not prevented the Italian legal profession from being precociously contaminated by the economic sphere. Since early XXth century, a new legal elite was formed in the field of the corporate economy; this elite has acted between the end of the XXth and the beginning of the XXI century as the channel by which new models of professional organization originating in Anglo-American countries have entered Italy.

Abstract
Italian legal elites are a case f exceptional resistance raised by the classic pattern of legal elites, which have neither lost all their traditional power not withdrawn from politics to confine themselves to professional practice alone. This resistence has nevertheless not prevented the Italian legal profession from being precociously contaminated by the economic sphere. Since early XXth century, a new legal elite was formed in the field of the corporate economy; this elite has acted between the end of the XXth and the beginning of the XXI century as the channel by which new models of professional organization originating in Anglo-American countries have entered Italy.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
