The introduction of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into academic contexts is profoundly transforming research practices and the production of knowledge. This contribution presents an exploratory study involving lecturers and researchers from diverse disciplinary fields, adopting a narrative inquiry approach to investigate lived ex periences and the impact of AI on scientific practice. Within a narrative- reflective theoretical and methodological framework, autobiographical tools were employed to collect research stories, highlighting continuities and discontinuities in profes sional trajectories. AI emerges as a socio- technical dispositif that redefines habits, epistemic agency, and scientific identity, configuring itself as a pedagogically transformative element.

Abstract
The introduction of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into academic contexts is profoundly transforming research practices and the production of knowledge. This contribution presents an exploratory study involving lecturers and researchers from diverse disciplinary fields, adopting a narrative inquiry approach to investigate lived ex periences and the impact of AI on scientific practice. Within a narrative- reflective theoretical and methodological framework, autobiographical tools were employed to collect research stories, highlighting continuities and discontinuities in profes sional trajectories. AI emerges as a socio- technical dispositif that redefines habits, epistemic agency, and scientific identity, configuring itself as a pedagogically transformative element.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
