This work explores the primary methods used in criminal intelligence, particularly emphasizing the intelligence-gathering techniques defined by UNODC and, for data integration in criminal analysis, the processes of link analysis and flow analysis for crime analysis. As the complexity of criminal networks increases, driven by a hyperconnected world and the development of new technologies that open new options for committing crimes, both physical and digital, law enforcement agencies must work in concert to develop and use more effective techniques.

Abstract
This work explores the primary methods used in criminal intelligence, particularly emphasizing the intelligence-gathering techniques defined by UNODC and, for data integration in criminal analysis, the processes of link analysis and flow analysis for crime analysis. As the complexity of criminal networks increases, driven by a hyperconnected world and the development of new technologies that open new options for committing crimes, both physical and digital, law enforcement agencies must work in concert to develop and use more effective techniques.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
