The Reprint “Sustainable Water Treatment Technologies for Multiple Applications” is intended to provide a comprehensive overview of innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective approaches to treating and purifying natural, wastewater, and saline waters. Its scope encompasses a broad range of technologies, including sorption-based processes, membrane systems, biological treatments, phytoremediation, and water conditioning solutions for domestic, agricultural, industrial, and energy-related applications. The primary aim of the Reprint is to advance knowledge of sustainable water treatment technologies and to highlight their role in addressing global challenges related to water scarcity, environmental protection, public health, and the water–energy–food nexus. The motivation for compiling this collection stems from the growing need to ensure reliable access to clean water amid climate change, increasing anthropogenic pressures, and the rising demand for water resources across multiple sectors. The contributions gathered in the Reprint present recent scientific developments, practical applications, and emerging perspectives that support the transition towards more resilient and resource-efficient water management systems. The Reprint is addressed to researchers, engineers, policy makers, industry professionals, and stakeholders involved in water treatment, environmental sustainability, energy production, and agricultural development. By bringing together multidisciplinary expertise, it aims to foster scientific exchange and encourage the implementation of sustainable solutions to meet present and future water challenges worldwide.
