The volume investigates the concept and the application of data-mediated design practices to foster interaction among actors on an urban scale, aimed at constructing actions to counter global problems. Given the complexity of these issues, the research assumes that collective and transdisciplinary actions are required to frame and address them. The research hypothesis discusses the necessity of identifying interaction and collaboration practices that enhance skills, fostering a collective understanding of socio-eco- logical issues – including segments of the population typically excluded from such processes. Another key reflection in the volume concerns the need to orient design practices toward beyond-human forms of collaboration, reflecting on the role of non-human actors, such as digital systems and natural elements. Starting from the observation of urban-scale problems, the volume proposes a conceptual framework, including formats and recommendations useful to address global issues, with a particular focus on the climate crisis.

Abstract
Starting from the observation of urban-scale problems, the volume proposes a conceptual framework, including formats and recommendations useful to address global issues, with a particular focus on the climate crisis.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
