The SportCityCult project intends to reconstruct the connection between the city and sport, rediscovering its potential as tangible and intangible "capital". In particular, SCC wants to analyze how this capital produces socio-cultural, educational, and symbolic repercussions, as well as the potential connections between consolidated and emerging event politics and sporting practices, between sport and the image of the city. The choice falls on the relationship between the city of Bologna and sport, to create a mapping of the symbolic places of city sport (from the end of 1800) and the historical-political identities, taking into account that sporting practice contributes to the identity of places through the creation of links between sports practitioners and physical environments. A broader objective is the search for an intangible legacy connected to the transformation from a space to a “sports venue” by symbolic contents, social representations, and storytelling

Abstract
A broader objective is the search for an intangible legacy connected to the transformation from a space to a “sports venue” by symbolic contents, social representations, and storytellingI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
