The Exhibition Display = 布展

This essay documents and analyzes in detail the project and layout of the exhibition “Sounds of Ink: Luo Qi and 30 Years of Calligraphyism” (12 October-5 November 2023, International Museum and Library of Music, Bologna), allowing readers to take a virtual tour of the museum rooms where the exhibition was held. The exhibition celebrated the thirtieth anniversary of the foundation of one of the principal currents of contemporary Chinese calligraphy, known as “Calligraphyism,” of which Luo Qi is the founder. In the essay, each series, work, and object on display is explained in detail, placing it precisely within the exhibition context. The essay is accompanied by a wealth of illustrations.
