The Spirit between Two Continents. Fichte in Turin, in São Paulo

The interpretations of Fichte by Luigi Pareyson and by Rubens Rodrigues Torres Filho have many aspects and interests in common. From a background of substantial continuity, it is possible, however, to highlight some unique aspects of the interpretation of Fichte by Torres Filho, which became paradigmatic and spread, influencing contemporary production throughout Brazil. This text does not try to exhaust the most interesting aspects of the philosophical reading of Fichte by the University of São Paulo professor, but only intends to point out some analogies and differences with the interpretation of the Torino professor.
