L’affidamento familiare nel prisma dell’interesse del minore

Foster care, introduced in order to protect the right of the children to live in their own family by providing support to the latter in case of temporary dif- ficulty, fulfills further important functions in a context characterized by the plurality and complexity of family models, as well as by the growing increase in the migratory phenomenon. In this new context, foster care constitutes an important functional tool to guarantee the continuity of the affective relation- ships that make up the life of the minor and to promote the integration of for- eign minors into the social fabric of the State that welcomes them.
