Parlare “pulito”. Analisi metaforica delle biografie linguistiche del corpus CHISONO

The study aims to analyze, from a semantic perspective, oral autobiographical texts produced by speakers of the Chisiamo corpus, in which informants reconstruct their linguistic history and the relationships that necessarily emerge from the intertwining of experiences in various places of permanence. Specifically, the work focuses on the examination of the metaphors through which speakers recount their different relationships with Italian and their dialect, as well as their specific selection of use in various relational contexts (professional, friendship, family, etc.). To this end, the orthographic transcriptions of the interviews were annotated with the MIP - Metaphor Identification Procedure protocol, which has been extensively validated for the English language and only recently adapted to the Italian language.

Lo studio si propone di analizzare, sotto il profilo semantico, i testi autobiografici prodotti da parlanti del corpus Chisiamo, nei quali gli informatori ricostruiscono la propria storia linguistica e le relazioni che necessariamente emergono dall’intreccio di esperienze nei vari luoghi di permanenza. Nello specifico, il lavoro è focalizzato sull’esame delle metafore attraverso cui i parlanti raccontano il diverso rapporto con l’italiano e il dialetto, nonché la loro specifica selezione d’uso nei vari contesti relazionali (professionali, amicali, familiari, ecc.). A tal fine, le trascrizioni ortografiche delle interviste del corpus sono state annotate seguendo il protocollo MIP - Metaphor Identification Procedure, ampiamente validato per la lingua inglese e di recente adattato alla lingua italiana.
