This study examines animal husbandry and fattening practices at Irisaĝrig during the Ur III period. Drawing on administrative texts, it reconstructs the organization of livestock management, focusing on Bayaga, head of the Fattening Pen, and the role of livestock managers and herders. The evidence highlights the integration of provincial and royal systems and the economic and cultic importance of cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, and equids.
