Where does the training of an architect start? Perhaps, as Ernesto Nathan Rogers said, from his being able to become a person who is aware and responsible for his work within an ethical process. In reality this is not always found and we ourselves probably get lost along the way and constantly struggle to keep ourselves on the objectives that we would have liked to pursue. For our part, however, it has always been in mind that there was a limit beyond which it was not permissible to go. Whether or not that limit has been crossed is not for me to judge. I must say that for my part I was facilitated by the fact that I was born in a house where my father's way of life was a model of an ethics of the profession intended as a service to the community. I wasn't born on a drawing board like my older brother and sister did - it was once normal to give birth at home - but nevertheless I grew up amidst the acrid smell of cinchona, tracing paper and smoke that you breathed in the rooms of the office where you spent many hours parked there after the school day. So it was that I continued on the path of architecture all my life.

Abstract
So it was that I continued on the path of architecture all my life.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
