G7 Hiroshima Summit of 2023 has dealt with human rights wi-hout showing a clear and organic strategy. However, three main lines of action can be distinguished, both in the ministerial declarations and in the final act: 1) Considering human rights protection as a kind of “legitimacy pre-condition” of every common target pursued by G7 Countries at several levels (economy, finance, climate change, energy supply, environment, etc.); 2) Taking engagements in order to enact specific human rights (such as, for instance, the right to adequate food); 3) Monitoring and denouncing several situations all over the world characterised by human rights violations or abuses.
