This study examines the first printed Arabic edition of Euclid’s Elements, produced in Rome in 1594 by the Typographia Medicea. It explores the textual transmission of the work, the editorial choices behind its attribution, and the technical and typographical innovations involved in its production. The article also highlights the commercial, cultural, and religious ambitions of the Medici press and evaluates the edition’s reception in both Europe and the Arabic-speaking world.
