The Geometric Origin of Architecture. This paper seeks to trace the initial moment when geometry appears and enters into relationship with architecture. This foundational relationship is investigated from the construction of the right angle and the square, through the lozenge configuration (also in the work of John Hejduk) and the archetype of the cross.

Questa relazione fondativa viene indagata a partire dalla costruzione dell’angolo retto e del quadrato, attraverso la configurazione a losanga (anche nell’opera di John Hejduk) e l’archetipo della croce.
