Experiencing Heritage – A digital bridge between Egypt and Italy

Virtual exhibition “Experiencing Heritage – A digital bridge between Egypt and Italy”, an immersive experience on Italian and Egyptian cultural heritage, combining three different digitization models (360° digitization – 2D digital animation – 3D interactive virtual reality), aiming to enhance and promote the importance of Italy’s cultural heritage, through an unprecedented virtual journey that allows viewers to visit some of the most prestigious cultural sites in Italy and Egypt. The opening of the exhibition includes a special performance of Egyptian Tahteeb and Italian Tarantella as intangible cultural heritage.

Mostra virtuale “Experiencing Heritage – A digital bridge between Egypt and Italy”, un’esperienza immersiva sul patrimonio culturale italiano ed egiziano che combinando tre diversi modelli di digitalizzazione (digitalizzazione a 360° – animazione digitale 2D – realtà virtuale interattiva 3D), ha l’obiettivo di valorizzare e promuovere l’importanza del patrimonio culturale italiano, attraverso un inedito viaggio virtuale che permette di visitare alcuni dei siti culturali più prestigiosi in Italia e in Egitto. L’apertura della mostra include una performance speciale di Tahteeb egiziano e Tarantella italiana come patrimonio culturale immateriale.
