The LARES project aims to analyze phenomena of mobility and connectivity in the religious settings of ancient civilizations, starting from processes and policies of acculturation deeply sedimented in language. The project connects four research teams at Università di Bologna, Helsingin Yliopisto, Uniwersytet Jagielloński w Krakowie, Universidad Complutense de Madrid. The area we deal with in the research workshops (Language and Religion) touches on several fields from cognitive studies to linguistics to memory studies. The final goal is to strengthen cooperation among the research units, planning coherent multidisciplinary developments towards a digital lexikon of religious acculturation in Antiquity
