The invention relates to a water-soluble package containing an automatic dishwashing detergent composition for release during a dishwashing cycle, the package comprising a polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) film, wherein the film is substantially free from glycerol and 1,2-propylene glycol, and wherein the film comprises from 5 to 30 wt%, based on the total weight of the film, of one or more non-ionic alcohol alkoxylates having a C8 to C20 alkyl group alkoxylated with from 1 to 15 alkoxylate units, wherein the alkoxylate units are ethoxylate units or a mix of ethoxylate and propoxylate units. The invention further relates to a method for preparing a water-soluble package containing an automatic dishwashing detergent composition for release during a dishwashing cycle, the package comprising a polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) film, wherein the film is substantially free from glycerol and 1,2-propylene glycol, and wherein the film comprises from 5 to 30 wt%, based on the total weight of the film, of one or more non-ionic alcohol alkoxylates having a C8 to C20 alkyl group alkoxylated with from 1 to 15 alkoxylate units, wherein the alkoxylate units are ethoxylate units or a mix of ethoxylate and propoxylate units.
