The two issues of the journal Phainomenon from 2022 are dedicated to the centenary of Edmund Husserl's Ideen I, exploring the “Internal Mutations” and “External Impacts” of transcendental phenomenology. The articles bring together the proceedings of a colloquium held in Lisbon in 2013, and the introduction explains the reasons for the significant delay in publication, due to the conversion of the project from a book to a journal publication. The first issue addresses central issues, including the pure ego, morphological essences, modes of attention, and the foundationalism of Husserl's project of philosophy as a rigorous science in its theoretical, ethical, and civilisational dimensions.
