Starting from the broad reflection on the concept of person, Max Scheler developed a new Christian philosophical system centered on a phenomenology and an 'ontic of the divine' and on the essential characteristics of religious experience. This system originated an authentic religious renewal destineted to reverberate, withits 'hidden mystical realism', on Edith Stein and Dietrich von Hildebrand, opening the way to the via dilectionis (primacy o f love over knowledge) as a 'Chriastian novelty'. Scheler can be considered the 'rediscoverer' and authentic Wegweiser of this 'way'.

Abstract
Starting from the broad reflection on the concept of person, Max Scheler developed a new Christian philosophical system centered on a phenomenology and an 'ontic of the divine' and on the essential characteristics of religious experience. This system originated an authentic religious renewal destineted to reverberate, withits 'hidden mystical realism', on Edith Stein and Dietrich von Hildebrand, opening the way to the via dilectionis (primacy o f love over knowledge) as a 'Chriastian novelty'. Scheler can be considered the 'rediscoverer' and authentic Wegweiser of this 'way'.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
