This Series intends to offer sophisticated theorizing about middle powers and cutting edge empirical analysis of middle powers i(MP) n action, today as well as in distant history. Books in the series may either focus on one specific case of MP, presenting an analysis following a common structure of argument in which several other issues will be discussed (see the structure of our volume on Italy’s foreign policy), or may study a group of MP that displays similar characteristics (e.g. MP proficient in peacekeeping or technology) or are regionally based (e.g. Asian or European MP). In this latter instance, the preferred format would be that of edited volumes.
