In this chapter, research results on unconventional RFID! (RFID!) systems providing high-accuracy positioning using batteryless tags will be presented. In particular, solutions exploiting UWB! (UWB!) signals, antenna arrays, and high-frequency bands will be illustrated along with recent techniques for efficient wireless power transfer.
