The paper presents and discusses preliminary results of a research carried out within the PRIN project "Governing, managing and developing networks of public administrations and public/private partnerships in labor and knowledge-intensive sectors" and concerning the performance evaluation of networks. Particularly Authors focused the analysis on organizational design, simulation on virtual platform and performance evaluation of public/private cultural networks. In this paper some cases of networks operating in the field of cultural heritage have been examined.
