The degrees of non-reality of conditional clause type 2: a testing within the context of Italian as LS and as L1 — This paper aims to present how the lyrics of some Italian songs were used in the context of teaching Italian as LS and as L1 to stimulate reflection on how conditional clauses type 2 express not only possibility but also impossibility in the present and/or future. Special emphasis will be placed on the design of learning activities and the results of a quiz based on songs.
