The booklet contain the revised text of a lecture, held at the typography "Bagnoli" in Pieve di Cento on October 13th 2024, and it deals with the origins of Hebrew typography in Italy, the dispute between Giustinian and Bargain in Venice leading to the burning of Talmud in 1553 and on the book portrayed in Tintoretto's "I santi Andrea e Girolamo" of the Gallerie dell'Accademia in Venice. It is complemented by 20 illustrations in full color of paintings and books.
